The Book Club Companion — An Undated Journal for Twelve Gatherings

A place for good books and longer conversations. The Book Club Companion helps you bring one thoughtful question to a meeting, notice what other readers see, and keep the ideas you want to carry home. An undated journal for twelve gatherings, with six pages for each book: prepare before you meet, collect reading notes, explore three suggested questions, record the conversation, reflect afterwards and keep a thread of notes for next time. Inside the 100 pages: • A club charter, reader roster and shared reading plan • Twelve six-page gathering sections with 36 original discussion prompts • Space for quotes, page references and different points of view • Season reflections, recommendations and future reading plans • Twelve extra pages of ruled and dot-grid notes The prompts can be adapted for fiction, memoir and narrative nonfiction.
